The Health Benefits of Wheatgrass
Wheatgrass is the new grass shoots of the wheat berry. It is a popular health supplement as it has high levels of many health-promoting elements, including vitamins, enzymes, chlorophyll and amino acids. It has a very rich content of Vitamins A and C, protein, potassium and magnesium. Wheatgrass is very easy to digest as it is absorbed quickly into the blood, and so its energy content is immediately available.

Wheatgrass contain the essential enzymes protease, which assists in the digestion of protein, amylase, which also aids in the digestive process and superoxide dismutase, which is known to reduce the effects of radiation and the aging of body cells.
